PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) has termed the allegations leveled by Begum Naseem Wali and Azam Hoti against the party leadership as baseless.

Talking to media representatives in Peshawar Press Club Sunday, Haji Muhammad Adeel and Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that both brother and sister are busy in hatching conspiracy against the party.

They were of the view that Begum Naseem Wali is politicizing the family matters to cause harm to the party. There is no place of Begum Naseem in the ANP, they said.

Haji Adeel said that Asfandyar Wali Khan is a non-controversial chief of the ANP and the party is united under his leadership.

He said that each leader of the party is punished after defeat in general elections. All the party committees were dissolved and new intra-party elections are going to be conducted, Adeel added.
